In renewing our house, my wife insisted on concrete in the kitchen. At first I thought he was joking. Hoped Corian granite or marble or polished, but it took by surprise. Again, the designer of the kitchen took me by surprise too. When I finally decided that my wife was seriously go with concrete countertops, was ecstatic. I thought a quick slap, you can buy a few bags of concrete hardware, add a little water, pour and voila! Something as simple as that was killed should be less expensive than laminate. Then the designer comes in and start browsing through the options and costs. When all was said and done, I wished have been established for the granite at the place I am sure it would have been cheaper. I must admit, cooking, good looking, however. The concrete has been polished to a high gloss and seems very strange.
When it came time to fix the garage, I had an ace to play. The concrete was so good in the kitchen is not the same glossy finish only my garage? I should mention that to me about life in the garage. I'm just a car freak. Not have to call an official collection, but I have a four bay separated with a perfect car (a Jaguar XJ and a Beetle Convertible 1971) and third (VW Scirocco 1988) now to be restored. I have many tools, many hardware and I can make a mess in my workspace. Since signing Reno in the kitchen, my wife has accepted a revised garage and had two main objectives: cleaning the screen "to open the box cars finished my best and make it easier to keep clean work area.
Turns out I was right about arrival to the garage floor. I painted the walls, ceilings drywalled finally, coordinated set of shelves, cabinets and desks, but when I enter this space, my favorite is the ground. I had a team comes in and pulls the accumulated dirt of my existing concrete floor. They were then treated with a concrete hardener and finally polish the surface using a diamond grinder. The result has been phenomenal. Everything shines and cars are on this floor. Spills clean up easily with this great glow, I am a little more motivated to be careful and keep looking that way.
